Hey
I'm trying to find the best speaker to put in my 1x12 mesa boogie open back combo

I currently have an EVM12L which I really like but it's not as thick as my recto cabs with v30s. (I usually put the EVM12L cab on top of the 2x12 Recto cab for a more massive sound)
EVM12L gives my solos alot of clarity while the Recto V30 is for low-end and thickness

I've heard the Eminence Lynch Super V12 in fusionbear's clip and really liked the tone with the Splawn Quickrod (thick and clear)

Anyone experienced the Eminence Lynch Super V12 ?

Would I see improvement over the EVM12L I already have? (clarity AND thickness/low-end)

I love mine.. had it in a JCM800 combo for a while. It is crunchy and tight.. fuller than a v30. I now have two paired with greenbacks. I love these speakers. Too bad they went out of production.

ive learned one thing with anything that has lynchs name on it

its probably awesome

I had one and wish I had it back. 150 watts and it is ideal for a 1X12. My only grip is that the frame is really thick and I had to go out and buy longer screws to mount the thing.

I love the Scumback M75's too, but the Splawn would cook the coil of even the 100 watt version of it in a 1x12. I have an EV, but it gives the Splawn a bit too much mid. The Eminence Super V is my favorite high power 1x12 for hot-rodded Marshall type amps...

+1 on the having to use longer screws and it being a pain in the ass. That was my experience as well.
