Eminence Tonkerlite. Does it really sound that good?

I really love the fat round sound of the Tonkerlite on the Eminence soundclips site:

Scroll down to "Tonkerlite" and listen to the "Heavy" sample. Does this speaker sound that good or is it the mic'ing that makes it sound like that?

i picked one up recently from a forum member, and was pretty suprised at how good it was.


i got it mostly to see if it was worth trying a quad of Neo Speakers, which i will, but will most likely go with the Lil Texas Heat. might get 3 Texas and run them with the Tonkerlite.


the Tonkerlite is a little bit scooped in the mids.

What do you think about the Lil Texas and a Tonkerlite in a 2x12? Would they balance each other out and can the Lil Texas fill the Tonkerlite's scoop>
