Post up any low-end guitars you have and still pull out to beat on occasionally
I picked up this Hondo II Professional (Model H-1020) back in 1991. I got it to take with me when I was getting stationed in Japan, because I didn't want to be at up my '89 Squier HM-1 (first electric, still have it)
It was refinished by me in my barracks room... Stripped to bare mahogany, The Crow comics cut from Heavy Metal magazine, sealed with water based poly....
Original pickup swapped out sometime in the early 2000s
Current pickup swap completed tonight (import P-94 Neck/ import Filtertron-ish in the bridge)
Thing still plays great
