Just got a replacement Fryette Power Station after the first one I had went kaput on Day One. Was really taken care of by Musik Collectiv in Germany (thanks, Jens!)

Man, I am loving this thing, even as a reactive load. I did a recording of my Engl Savage 120 this morning.

You hear so much about the Suhr Reactive Load being a better reactive load, but I don't think the Fryette is any slouch either. Definitely a good silent recording solution.

Sounds beautiful to my inexperienced mixing ears. As good as my Kemper imo.

I had both, both are great. I don't know that there would be a real noticeable difference between the them. With the controls on the Fryette, there are more options to adjust the sound, but that's about it.
