Were the savage 120's revoiced for the 60W smaller version?

Really like what i am hearing with them, wondering who has had the chance to mess with one, or both for that matter?

i own the 120 and it's pretty killer. not the most versatile amp ever, but definitely a sweet head and an essential piece for high-gain metal. clean tones are a little iffy, but there's tons of shaping knobs and buttons and the amp takes pedals like a champ, so you can definitely develop a tone you can live with. the crunch channel can generate a multitude of sweet hard rock tones and meshes very well with my strats and lp's, and the lead channel just screams - perfect for detuned, palm muted, chunky rhythms (i'm not much of a lead player, so i cannot attest to its affability with solos and noodling).

if you're looking for a do-it-all kind of amp, this is not the one for you. but if you're buying it to do specific things, you wont be disappointed.

Talk to Ola, I believe he has owed both

funnily enough, ola's vids are what inspired me to pick up the savage

I was looking to get a smaller amp to take to jams, or write music at night.

I considered the Engl 60 and 5150 III 50W, but that is not the point of the topic :D

I'm just curious as to whether there was a re-voicing, it seems like it for some reason?

I hope Ola stumbles over to the topic, would love to get his input and opinions.
