Brittain has some real badasses but men made of soft butter seem to be the majority. I dealt with thousands of brits in tourism during the mid 2000's and that was my impression.
As for the Boers maybe you're right but maybe we should've assisted in the ass kicking in Rhodesia even if it was just military aid and this wouldn't have ever been a problem and it was a whole lot more worthy of a cause than Ukraine. The issue is that was Brittain's responsibility and they turned their back on the Smith administration so they couldn't get weapons and supplies. In turn the Smith administration should've been more aggressive about integration and representation within the gov for tribal people and the same can be said for South Africa. The communists exploited that void.

The Brits I met at motocross of nations were some bonified badasses, but apparently they are a shrinking group. They would have whipped those cops asses and laughed as they went to jail for it.
