Again, I get to touch Gibsons people dream of. If you are feeling that vibe, good for you man for sure.

I think this guy would tell you that your Tan Pants epis and Gibsons can't touch this MIC masterpieces.

I once picked up a Gibson Supreme and well after that I couldn't really play my Epiphone or mid tier Gibsons......


Because yeah...... they sound nothing like a real Les Paul should and I never really got it until I played that Supreme..... haven't picked up a Les Paul forever because the ones I could afford from Gibson or Epiphone were garbage compared to the actual Gibsons IMO. Almost 20 years my old Korean LP has been collecting dust...... and I didn't pick up another or wanted to plug one in until these new Chinese Epis and the move to "Inspired by Gibson" over the past 3-5 years.


If I could afford it I'd probably be looking at a Gibson USA Standard 50s but other than that and short of that IMO your getting a lot of value from these Chinese Epis and in a lot of cases better quality and builds vs your mid tier Gibson stuff IMO but YMMV.
