I've been selling a lot of gear lately to free up space and money and have been pretty successful but, there are certain times that a special something comes along and you have to completely undo your plans
January:
Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster. I LOVE super strats. But, this is only the 2nd Fender I've ever picked up that I felt I could keep FOREVER (the 1st was a custom shop Strat with some Charvel/Jackson type modern appointments but alas, it slipped through my fingers). This one, was NOT going to be a regret. Thick sounding, dare I say, almost humbuckery mids.
February:
Tom Anderson Drop Top 7. Rosewood neck on a 7-String!?! Had to have it
March:
Suhr Guthrie Govan Modern. There was an S5 and a GG right next to each other. I pick up the GG and after about 20 minutes I tell myself to put it down before I do something stupid. I pick up the S5 and where as it looked nice, it was so off tonally to the GG, it wasn't funny so after 5 minutes, it gets put back and... you know how the story ends
I'm done for the rest of the year
