I played this guitar (which won best of show) at the SEGAS show in NC last year and immediately fell in love with it.

Hand made here in NC in extremely small numbers and insane attention to detail these guitars are really neat.
Each guitar has pickups handwound by the builder (this has PAF style).

Specs
25 1/2 inch scale neck with med-jumbo frets
Fretboard= Ziricote
Neck Wood- Paduak, maple, ebony.
Body wood- Sapele w/Flamed Burl top.
Pickups- Handwound Guitar logistics Paf's .... voiced specifically for the guitar.
Tuners- Shaller locking
Neck Shape- Trapezoidal rounded.


The body is extremely thin and reasonably light.

I'll post some more pictures and clips when I get done staring at it.

I literally emailed the builder knowing that this was his personal guitar, and asked if he'd be willing to sell.... guess he was :D
 
Nice looking guitar. Headstock has a Parker/Blackmachine vibe. Are the pickups wired together? I don't see a toggle switch.

Push/pull pot for switching.

The guy was a parker player and huge ibanez fan, guitar is a mixture of everything i've really liked, namely Face Eraser+RG+LP+Horus
 
I saw that at the show too...killer looking guitars...congrats on the new machine Bro!

Question, what's with neck backside, is that just design or is it integral trussing and the like??

If you mean the scarf joint and striping it is a little bit of both. Bret has some crazy scarf joint designs.

If you were referring to the shape it's very ergonomic, feels like a D shape mated with a Fender soft V.
 
nothing like finding "the" guitar that is easy to fall in love with - you just know the second you hit a few chords if it is right for you :rock:

i looked at their site but did not see any info, where at in NC?
 
Wow that is really friggin awesome. I love natural wood tops. He really loves the gloss too. The base prices arent bad considering they are hand made. Time to start saving.

Lusting for 6-7 months was just cruel though!
It's bad when you you pester someone for something they woouldn't normally sell.

Wake County NC. Just outside of Raleigh.

His new stuff that is coming out is just on another level.
