Epiphone pickup review probucker vs alnico classic

I just went through my epi Les Paul swapping out a bunch of epiphone pickups. Here is my opinion
Probucker 2- sounded great in the bridge but I did not like it in the neck I thought it sounded dark.
Probucker 3- oddly enough it sounded like it had less output than the 2. Not sure why it might just be the character
Alnico pro classics. This is what came in the guitar and I eventually went back to it. I started going to the probuckers because I wanted a pick up with less output. I have to say the output is almost identical throughout the models. But the pro classics have an extended low and high range that I like. I wouldn't say they're brighter or darker but just more of everything.
I would say the most important thing is that a non-musician would not be able to tell the difference between any of these pickups. The difference is very subtle and I'm not sure if it would be worth swapping between any of these.
These are just my opinions.
