I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on an eq pedal. I know that the Brown Eye cleans up very well with just rolling your volume down on your guitar. However I'm looking into maybe getting an eq pedal to do this. Any recommendations? I'm currently looking into the Home Brew Detox Eq that was created with Paul Gilbert. Thanks!

I've heard a lot of good things about the MXR 10-band EQ. I've not used it. I'm using an old DOD FX40B. With the bass scooped out and mids boosted, rolling off the volume gives a nice clean sound to my distorted channel...an unintended benefit of using an EQ.

I use the MXR 10 band on my clean channel. I run it through the loop and it sounds great.
