Esp 2016 Product Preview

With such a respectable number of 7 strings, I'm surprised that I don't actually want any of them.

Esp has become a joke.......a hideous redesign of headstock logo that never needed to happen.

LTD used to be clearly their budget line, but now it's suppose to be budget as well as a standard line. Confusing & stupid....

Has to be the lamest makeover of a brand that was totally unnecessary & only served to diminish it.

The E-II on the headstock is laughable

ESP is trying to be everything to everybody, which is always almost impossible. The "Stream" lineup has already won the "Most Hideous Guitar Concept of 2016" and they are a strong contender for 2017 already. Do ESP strats sell these days, other than used Jake E Lees? They lost their identity. They have to go back to basics, and quick. Killer Horizons.

I kinda like the Stream, but the EII thing is horrible. I agree with Bishop that I just can't bring myself to pay that much for something that apparently isn't good enough to say ESP on the headstock.

a lot of stores will sell the e-ii stuff for less than 1700, some go for as low as 1000 new out the door that are marked at 1799. and yes, some e-ii models are great, I have a horizon that is amazing tonally and its playability is also great.

The only place in my area that has them is Guitar Center. I doubt they'd come down that much. I'll be moving to DC soon, and I'm hoping to find some much better shopping experiences in the surrounding areas. I've no doubt about the quality. ESP and LTD guitars are usually very nice in general.
