That's just insane. I mean, beyond LOL'ing. Is it because of the full thickness body? I am sure the body is still CNC'd and put through the same basic construction process as the production models, no? I am guessing just finished by the custom team?

I remember playing around with the quote generator, and could not get anything below $6k no matter how simple I made the specs. This was back before MIJ custom-shop produced guitar weren't $5k+ like the current Original Series.

No i didn´t.
It all started by playing the Gibson LPC in Silverburst (with richlite board) and the ESP white Iron cross which is about 5700€
But i like ESP guitars.So i started to put the specs together.
It was even more because of the LED side markers. with them the price was 8500 €.
It is ridicoulus.

esp has gone insane with their prices the last 3 years.
i used to buy 4 or 5 new esp a year but i try to buy used now, i couldnt deal with the drastic price increases.
the custom shop stuff is really nice but i would rather buy another KL.
i had a beautiful custom shop eclipse in trans black quilt built in the k-custom shop and now im thinking i should have kept it. i sold it for around 2k and it was much better built and better quality than the standard eclipse that we pay over 2k now.

keep in mind your actual out-of-pocket price will probably be 30% less than that
...but it's still a lot of money!!
I doubt they will be hurting for customers though even with the high prices.
