What is your experience with them? I played one for a very short period years ago and remember thinking it was cool. I love the way they look. Can't remember the neck feel.
I know they're pricey but the reviews are stellar.
Any thoughts?

I've got a line on one.

i have had one for close to 5 years and its pretty well beat up. they are great guitars. I like the customs ones better and the standard line varies in weight quite a bit. and i believe some of the guitars through certain years have buzzing problems. Mine does not greatest action but i still love the guitar. I would play a few and local stores before you make a decision

I've been having one for 5 years, it's my main guitar, brilliant playing, very nice finish, they're expensive but they deserve it.

They're a bit thinner than the Gibbies, even thought some Full Thickness ones exist. The neck is perfect for me : not too thin, not too thick.

My weapon of choice, I think I'm gonna get a second one for D stuff...

Thanks guys. It's a quality guitar for sure. Just not sure it's my thing. I'll play it and see how it feels. I'm sure it sounds great.

Here is the thickness difference between an Eclipse and a Les Paul.

I enjoy mine. With passive pickups, they retain a lot of the "Les Paul Sound."

Nice guitars, i have 3 eclipse right now and the fullthickness is my fav.

i also had a custom eclipse and it was the nicest eclipse i ever owned of played. the quality was excellent and felt much different than the other models because of the neckthru, it also had a thick maple top instead of the veneer. They are expensive but are on a whole other level of quality than the standard series.

I've got an Eclipse I and and Ecplipse II. Love 'em both! Neck on the II is a little thinner than the I. Both sound and play great. I used to miss my old PRS Custom 24s that I used to have... until the ESPs came along. On the used market they are VERY fair priced right now and an excellent bargain.

They're nice guitars. Don't hesitate buying one if that's what you're looking for.

Same here, don't miss my Custom24 at all

I had a couple of cheaper ones years ago & loved them!
