ESP and E-II are still Japanese. The LTD guitars are made all over Asia including Korea (mostly the 1000 series), Vietnam, China, and Indonesia.

ESP screwed up when they made all ESP branded guitars Custom Shop only and got rid of the ESP Standards name for the E-II name. Worst move they ever made IMO.
