Looks great! I have the flat black version of this model, and like it alot!

It's an LTD. They make great workhorses for the money. It'll be a good guitar, that's solid to play and sounds good. I love the looks, I'm just wondering if I'd like binding on the neck.

Thanks for your feedback.

I like the set thru neck, 24 XJ frets, SD pups, and Bubinga/Mahagony neck and Mahagony/Koa body.

I am hoping it will have a thunderous sound like a LP.

Most EC guitars aren't as thick as an LP. They usually don't sound as full. It's not a bad thing at all, just different. I have 3 of them, and love them all. Great guitars for the money. One is full thickness and gets very close to the full LP sound.

I don't dig 24 frets on that type of guitar. It puts the neck pickup too far back and makes it looked cramped on the body. I don't like the inlay on the 12th fret. Other than that, I like everything else. I really like the heel carve. Looks comfy.

bish0p34, that is one sweet looking axe...if it plays and sounds half as good as it looks then it is killer.

Tremojam, thanks! It really is. Feels and plays as nice as the EC1000. Musician's Friend had the tobacco sunburst at $500 when I posted that. I play it more than my other ones now. As Mr. Willy said, I'll take the 22 frets. I like the neck pickup more in those.
