ESP M-II's with 43mm Nut

I have a two ESP M-II's, one from the late 80's and one from the mid 90's. One is 42mm and the other is 43mm. I prefer the 43mm and would like to get a few more. Does anyone know the years in which ESP M-II's had necks with 43mm? It seems as though it was mid 90's but don't know the year ranges. Any help would be appreciated.

you can always change the nut...

I care for one ....

I thought about that since there is a little extra ledge on each side but wasn't sure about the strings being too close to the edge of the finger board.

that could happen if you try a R5 nut...
My loyd nut came with an R1...
changed it with an R3...
no problems with the strings or neck...
