For RT members I have this listed at over 6500 on Reverb and Ebay but if you want to make a deal PM me.
Here is the description from my Ebay and Reverb ad. Make an offer here for a better deal. You will never find an early 90's era explorer in this condition in a very looooong time:
My last one sold for 6500 and that was a 93. This is a 1992 model so even older. Yes it's on a foam pad not concrete.
These bell shaped truss rod cover ESPs are rare and considered vintage now. This is a 1992 ESP custom shop James Hetfield of Metallica Explorer. Only available in Japan, in the USA these were custom order only till 1998 when they were discontinued in the USA and Europe due to Gibson C&D legal action which essentially has been referred to a Gibson lawsuit therefore a "lawsuit model".
Great example early 90's era ESP from my personal collection. Original gigbag, bell shaped truss rod cover, graphite nut and dual EMG 81s on a Mahogany body and neck with Ebony fretboard. This has the ABR style Gotoh bridge but this one does not have the wire. I noticed not all 90's MX250s had the wire equipped bridge there is also a chance maybe the bridge was replaced at a later date but looks correct to me for this era.
These 90's era ESP explorers were much better sounding and quality woodwise than the 2000 bullet truss rod era.
Almost New old stock condition. Only slight patina on the some of the screws, hardware and frets but almost nothing for a 27 year old guitar.
The reason I cover the serial number is because my photobucket and guitar collection pics ended up on a Chinese guitar manufacturers/forgers website and they were advertising copies of guitars from my personal collection down to the serial numbers. I will only disclose full serial after purchase.
