I used to own a strat head ESP long ago (30 years). I remember I loved the feel, but I I dont remember the profile. I would like to do another build and am wondering which Musikraft profile would get me in the ballpark.

Thanks

I can’t help with specs, but I had a custom Strathead and LOVED the neck. Beefier than a San Dimas neck, but very comfortable to play.

I tried a late 80s Mirage once in a GC about 8 yrs ago...it was SUPER thin, almost Wizard like. Too thin for me. They must vary over the years.

Just loved those USA San Dimas Charvels. I went through a brief ‘Wizard’ phase and got to the point where they just felt uncomfortably thin. FWIW the last 4 Musikraft necks I ordered are all .81/.81 ‘Pro Mod’ and I just love them. Slim without being ‘too’ thin. I have also become really fond of Warmoth’s ‘Standard Thin’ profile which is .80/.85.

i love the .79-.85 pro mod from Musikraft. Maybe I’ll try the 81-81. It looks like it has more shoulder to the shape

Buddy of mine have 90's Maverick Deluxe (24,75'' scale) with maple neck and this one have slightly thinner Thin U profile. I have similar neck on Anderson with even-taper profile.
