My bass player just bought the Hetfield cross LP and its amazing, pricey though...but it plays better than his LP custom, its very well made but for 3500 bucks It shoud be...

I have had a pile of them and I am having dinner with Jeff Moore (ESP VP) next week. What do you want to know?

played a horizon and it was ridiculously bad ass, hell, I got the eii horizon and that is bad ass, but the USA was tops, it was nicer than the suhr moderns I have owned, played and sounded better also. I think it cost my buddy about 4 grand, but I think its worth it. every aspect of the guitar was perfection, but the main thing was the playability and tone, it played as easy as my soloist and was almost as beefy as a les paul, just with sharper more clear tones, with high gain it was AMAZING!! wish I had one so bad. there was a guy on here that had two usa horizons and they looked great. he was selling one for a lot less than normal.

I've got to play a few of the new ones. Very nice guitars. I own a 2001 USA ESP MII, that I ordered new, and it is amazing also.

Why are you looking at the US's rez? Spend a little more and get an original series! I had 2, and recently traded one in. I got to compare between the Original series and USA series when I bought my first one and those Japan custom shop built original series just felt way above anything Ive had. Youve all seen this pic a bunch of times but here they are again. The one on the left is the one I kept

I have played the ESP USA Eclipse a couple of weeks ago. Just an awesome guitar. Full Thickness Body with a nice belly cut, set thru with a thin u neck design which felt awesome. Rich and full Sound, great sustain.

The one on the left = BAD ASS!!!!!

I played an Miii USA recently that a friend got form MF private reserve. Honestly, I'm blown away by it. It had some features I didn't realize like a roasted neck and wheel truss adjustment. I have several custom shop ESP, old ESP, 48th st NYC etc and these new USA models are seriously badass. I think he paid around $3400 but it's truly in the Suhr/(insert pricey guitar) league. I could find nothing wrong with it and I've drooled over it 3 times now. Stellar guitar I would recommend

Great Intel!

I was talking about the original series, sorry.

If they are anything like the way old ones made Hollywood in the late 90s early 2ks, then they are amazing. My USA custom from 2001 or so is my current favorite.

Hi Bro,

I had a blue ESP Horizon with fixed bridge and a KH-2 with bolt on neck (both at the same time) and I think they were good guitars, especially the Kh-2 that i preferred the most.

But honestly, I have to say that since I have handmade guitars made by an awesome guitar builder Marc Chicoine in Sherbrooke, Qc, Canada, I've never felt so happy in my life. I always had some discomfort et stuff that bothered me on manufactured series guitars...

Actually I have to admit I never tried USA made ESP. Both the ones I had were made in Japan. Don't get me wrong, I'm not ditching them and maybe the American's are far much better and even newer models. And they must have very skilled luthier working on them.

I just feel I have a more personalized instrument with flawless construction and high quality wood for the same price as high end/custom guitars. Plus I have a unique service.

Anyways I'm sure you'll find something that suite your needs. Its always best to try them before if you can.
Ps. pickups also make a good difference in sound. Make sure you get something you like as well.

Keep on rocking!

Ps. Forgot to mention these ESP's do look amazing! I would certainly take one for free! haha Anyone selling one for 1000$? haha

Cheers
