I'm thinking of picking one of these units up as I want to have some more modulation options on my board while saving as much space as possible and these seem like the reasonable options. Who has had experiences with both? Which one did you prefer?

Ive had both and for space, go with the Eventide. (AND it has MANY effects in it)
I kept the Strymon though because it was better for ME>

Why was the Strymon better for you? I already have a Boss DD-500 for delay and going to get a basic reverb as I don't use reverb too much so really the H9 or Mobius would be strictly for modulation.

I had a Mobius a couple of years ago and I missed it! I was using an Eventide H9 but had too many issues connecting via Bluetooth on the unit. Direct it worked fine. Ended up returning it and have a new Möbius incoming. I like the sounds that come out of the unit. Both of them have pre-post routing. The advantage of the H9 is the harmonized and reverb-delay settings but like you I already have that covered with a DD-500 which I really like!

Is the Mobius pretty easy to figure out and navigate? That's one thing I love about the DD-500 and am always afraid about the complexity of multi-FX pedals. I actually really wish BOSS came out with a Mobius competitor in the DD-500 format - that'd be amazing!

It's very simple! There aren't a lot of sub menus. When I had the first one, I just didn't take the time to learn it. That being said, the H9 with the app works very nicely and is easy to use. I just need the modulation stuff at this point though. Love the DD-500 as well! So easy to use and sounds great! I'm really glad that I put one on my board. I had a 3 evening gig last week and I had to make a couple of changes and I was able to do it very easily and fast. Now that I know how to adjust everything on the Möbius (borrowing a friend's until mine is in!) it will also be very easy.
