I've read a few discouraging things about Eventide multi-effects. They're expensive, so it's disappointing to hear so much about their reliability. Anyone put a Time Factor or Mod Factor through it's paces?

No, but I own 4 H9s (2 MAX and 2 CORE). :D

I am completely happy with the sound of my pitch factor. Not only for the harmony but it has a very nice sounding delay, chorus, micro pitch, etc.Stellar sound quality.Never owned modfactor.like anything else its all in how you set it up and tweak it.

Compared to their rack units, the pedals suck pretty bad. The pitchfactor being one of the most disappointing considering that's what they are most known for. I returned my h9.

I agree with you. I think this subject iis going to be like anything else... it's personal preference. My H9s are awesome.

timefactor and mod factor are great pedals. as advertised. i haven't had the pleasure of the pitch factor yet. H9 was too limited for me.

What do you think as far as Mod Factor vs Mobius?

My modfactor has been rackmounted, but I've gigged it for at least 5-6 years without any issues. Knocks on wood....

I sold all my Eventide gear. Im a strymon Timeline, Mobius user. Very happy. Waiting for Strymon to drop a harmonizing pitch shift thing ... any fucvking day now.

I know it's hard to tell from videos, but I like the flanger and phaser a little bit better on the Mod Factor, but everything else sounds a little better on the Mobius.

Good to know. I don't gig, but I try to buy stuff that's been road tested.

Interesting. . .has there been rumors yet of a Strymon harmonizer????

I would love to see a Mobius and timeline rack unit. Doubt it will ever happen

I loved my Timefactor, but sold because...

Why the hell would a guitar effects pedal have the input on the right, output on the left of the pedal?

Made no sense and made my pedal board wire clutter bad. Also, the midi jacks were in one of the most space inefficient spots.

I went to a Pigtronix Echolution which, sound wise and feature wise, hasn't impressed me like the Timefactor did, but it is more convenient.

I didn't like that about the TimeFactor either. The H9s have everything on the top - midi on the left.
