Eventide Time Factor - Self Oscillation Capable?

Hey:

Question for you Time Factor owners. More specifically, those that might have tried the following little trick.....

I am wondering if you are able to get the time factor to go into self oscillation using an expression pedal that controls its feedback parameter (and any other relevant parameters, such as delay time, mix, etc.). Basically, I want to be able to make it self oscillate really slowly (e.g., after a few seconds) and really fast (i.e., within 1 second), depending on how far I put the expression pedal to the 'toe down' position. Also, it is really only interesting to me if the self oscillation is really severe. I want it for cool 'raygun' style effects, not for a tame self oscillation effect.

Can anybody shed any light on the pedal's capability in this respect?

Thanks!

Well, I know exactly what you want to do, as I do it frequently on my Line 6 Echo Pro. I do not own the Eventide Time Factor, but I took a trip over to their website and looked through the manual and the Factory Preset List, and it appears that in can indeed do what you want. Here's a link to check out the presets and it shows what the expression pedal does on each one, numerous ones show the feedback option you are interested in (oscillation). This seems to be a pretty complicated effects box so I would bet that any parameter is assignable in any preset or at least on custom made ones.

Thanks, man. I just need to now find some time to go try one out in person. Looks promising though!
