I'd prefer it w/out the pickguard - but cool none the less

I have one on order. Should be here in the next month or so.

I'm really not into sig stuff but this guitar has nothing on it other than the trussrod cover that indicates it's a sig. Just a kickass silverburst explorer with binding.

I played one of these at NAMM.

It felt like a new construction Explorer...if i recall, it had a slightly thinner 60's style neck.

pretty cool.

actually the ONLY cool thing I even saw in the gibson area.

Seriously epic. Thunder Horse = :D

You shouldn't have posted this, I WANT it!

is the nut cut for bigger strings?

Welder tip cleaners!! :D

Actually that may be somewhat of a bad idea. I'm not a luthier, though.

Get rid of the pickguard and throw some binding on it, and I'll be happy as can be. Me wants.

It has bindings (both body and neck).

But still - loose the pickguard Gibson!

Ya if it didn't have the pick guard it would be bloody perfect. I'm anxious to learn if places like guitar center or sam ash will start carrying them in stock. I really want to try one out.
