Everytime i think of selling my BB preamp..

It jumps out the box and kicks my ass =0

This past year I've been thinking of reselling it countless times (as it's a surefire sell pretty much and i'm trying my best to sell before buying)

I find a new way of hooking it up and it simply rips,

I was thinking of finding a clean boost recently, but then hooked the BB preamp before the blackstar HT dual - gain to 0 , volume near 4 o clock, slight bass boost, killer

i was always using it stacked before, but it fell off my board in favour of a MI audio blue boy deluxe and a cmatmods Brownie, before selling it there i hooked it up instead of the brownie...win win once again ,

i thought i'd just use the HT dual recentely but then the idea of a boost before it invaded my thoughts and pow, it's a keeper

i don't know what it is about it but i'm glad i didn't flip the pedal

just curious if others have gone through something similar or what other people think of the Xotic pedal line? (be it AC,RC booster or even the EP booster that has really caught my eye)

basically lesson learnt, I think i'll be selling some other stuff instead =0

Yeah I don't even use any pedals anymore since I've gotten my Axe-FX. Sold them all off... except the BB preamp. Just can't bring myself to do it, love that pedal!

Love my BB pre amp. I use it on the clean channel of my Herbert with boost only and the gain barely cracked open.
I love the edge and attack it gives.

I sold mine in the heat of the moment... I was excited and someone was waving a black SG in front of me and wanted some pedals and stuff..

It had to go.

I miss it though.

Sold one once and have another one. It's the one pedal I should never part with.

It works perfectly in my shiva's clean channel. Very Andy Timmons like if I want it to be or just a nice fat rhythm tone and all at low volumes.

i think that video sold tons of BBs and lonestars =) sweet tone

I sold the lonestar but i've kept the BB, i'm just using pedals into a clean amp so the lonestar was overkill, awesome amp however

The BB Pre is the one pedal that I haven't bought that I really want. Maybe I'll pick one up this year, if I can keep the rest of my gear from breaking...

Yup. This is one pedal that sounds GREAT through every amp I've ran it through.

This is one pedal that I need to own. I don't understand why they advertise the high and low tone stacks as being an active EQs because they are not.

Last year I considered selling my BB+ several times, but it never goes. It's a keeper for me. I've let plenty of nice pedals go lately (TS9, OCD, Jekkyl and Hyde, Boss DS1 and OS2), but that one is just amazing on every amp I try it on. I might have to grab the mid boost version too.

I have an AC booster pedal, but i was wondering how much better this one might be than the regular bb preamp one...specially since it says it is more aggressive and has a mid boost...
