EVH 5150 1x12 cabinet

anybody own one? how does it sound for its size? does it project well? thinking about downsizing the 4x12. thanks.
 
I don't own one, but I did spend a good hour and a half in a sound room with one and a 5153 50 watt, and I must say it roared.
It had an amazing amount of bass,but I'm willing to bet the resonance control also had a part in that.
With higher gain stuff it didn't muddy up with said bass, and had good clairity to my ears.
I don't mean this as a bad note to the EVH line of stuff, but those cabs are what impress me most about the line. They sound fantastic and have great construction.
 
I have one as I love it. Sounds huge!!!

I wish it was slightly oversized so the head lockdown mechanism and tilt back legs would work with it
