So im on my third amp and iv noticed that when i take this thing out of stand by it Pops pretty loud on all channels.
It also will hiss and make strange noises sometimes on all channels also. Anybody experience this? I almost about to give up on these amps its my 3rd ONE!!!

Most of the problems with the EVH 100watter can be narrowed down to either the footswitch/cable or preamp tubes. I've also heard of bad tube sockets.

I've had mine since 2007, the first run of them. Gigged it many times with no major issues. I had a bad footswitch cable early on and blew a power tube most likely as a result of bad outdoor power.

Pops and noises coming from an amp IMO are usually tube related...popping when switching channels is a different story, though.

I think this was a fairly common issue with the early run and a fairly easy fix, but you'll have to take it to an EVH tech.

I believe the early run argument is false and unsubstantiated. The amp is mechanically unchanged since the beginning.

Disagree - when troubleshooting one (out of the box) before a fest last year, the online schematic did not match what I saw in the amp guts in front of me
Was put through to Fender artist and tech reps (took 2 until I was in touch with the right person), and I was told I had the latest revison in front of me

In our case, one of the internal fuses had been changed from a fuse to a soldered jump/bridge. The actual problem was a bad tube

So - there have been changes, from what I was told, in part due to whatever the CE requirements were for the circuit when the amp was first release

To the OP - good luck with the issue - check teh tubes and footswitch cable

I think I have heard of this discrepancy. The schematic you speak of may have been a very early rendition and by the time the first production amp was sold the actual change was already in the amp and they never changed the original schematic that was made public. I don't know if this is fact though.

One change during production that has been verified is a change in the brand of the controls/pots.
