I'm using a Way Huge Saucy box and it works great to give Ch2 a kick in the ass and get rid of some of the flab from the bottom without cutting as much bass as a typical tube screamer type pedal or pushing mids as much. It can be a pure clean boost or add some grit of it's own too depending on how it's set.
I'm using a Clinch FX EP Pre on my 100 watt and a MXR Echoplex on my 50 watt. Both are basically the preamps from an old Echoplex in a pedal form without the delay. Any similar type pedal like the Xotic EP booster will work too. People have had great success with the Maxon OD808
I'm using the koko boost reloaded with my 5150 iii. It knocked my Maxon of the board plus it acts as my buffer. the build quality and design of the suhr stuff is as good as it gets.
