Kickass!! Nice tones and were getting some great Dimebag "chunk" in there too.

Thanks, its a great amp:)

Im thinking of adding a more "classic sounding" head, like Marshall SV20 or maybe Origin 20.

Before you jump into something with more classic amounts of gain levels, try drastically backing of your preamp gain like anywhere from 1-5(AC/DC levels or so)then bring in just enough level boost with your maxon 808. If you like it... it might save you from having to invest in another amp that you may end up feeling needs more gain.

I do this on my Cameron jose 2203 and it gets a great plexi jangly feel with a less compressed tone even though the amp has a ton of gain in the gain stages. I also did this on a Peavey 6505 and had the same results with that amp which is similar to the gain structures and amounts of the EVHIII amps.

The clip sound nice and full BTW, as always...

Thanks ! :) The amps rocks and its a lot fun to play. When cranked it sounds really good. I would just like to add some different flavour, maybe slightly looser, more old school one.

What power amp are you using for your wet/dry/wet?

Thanks, just checked it out and that's a great price! Perfect for an apartment/home W/D/W setup.
