EVH 5150III 50W EL34 ?

Someone trying to put EL34 (with the modification requiered) in place of 6L6 stock ?
Sound better ...?

I heard that its impossible to do with it's design. Check out the 5150 III 50w thread on the gear page. Howard Kaplan explained it there somewhere...I remember seeing that question being asked
 
Ok , i saw this post but with a little modification it s possible . I just want to know if someone do that ...?

Why would anyone want to? Already has a marshally/el34 vibe to it to me.

I agree with you but ... i love EL34
 
Try 6ca7,gives it way more of a Marshall sound!!i really like it with them

Know them and tried a lot in my VHT 2/50/2 but Winged C EL34 got my vote always , just curious what they can do in the evh III 50W
