EVH 5150III - Greenbacks or G12H30s?

Has anybody here compared this head (either the 50 or 100 watt version) with both of these speakers? I know the 4x12 comes with GBs whilst the 1 and 2x12 cabs come with G12H30s. I have G12H30s currently but I'm finding them a bit "metal" sounding really, just a bit scooped and harsh. Thinking of going for some G12Ms.

Anybody compared the two with this head?
 
I really liked this head through some chinese G12Ms in a VHT D412. I also tried the H30 70th anny, but didn't like it nearly as much. I never tried it with Heritage/British Ms.
 
The 5153 4x12 stock speakers are still my favorite with this head. Celestion EVH or british made Celestion G12M, since I've heard they're the same speakers.
 
Played mine thru a Splawn small block cab, Splawn governor/manowar cab and a Marshall vintage 30 cab

My favorite by far was the small blocks. Did not like the v30's at all...it just seemed brighter and more harsh

Too bad youre in the UK, these sb speakers sound good with any amp I use :yes:
