Hi to everyone!
So, we recorded our first album sometime ago.
It's a melodic death metal album and the band is from Oslo, Norway btw.
Only one amp was used for the whole album, which was quite unexpected, especially by today's standards. The amp was the almighty EVH 5150 III 100W 6L6 Original (black & white, the one before the stealth models came out) and it turned out great. It really has this bark, growl and aggression needed for this type of music.
After trying some combinations with it and the Engl Fireball/Powerball (Fredrik Nordström/Studio Fredman style) we went with the EVH only, for all the guitar parts, rythm & leads.
Take a listen through the link below (there are 2 songs with different flavors) and while you're at it, give us your honest opinion about the mastering version you'd like for each song, cause we're having a hard time deciding:

Thanx,
Chris
