I have some bleed through that I have to touch up but not too bad for my 1st attempt hugh?

Dude..........love it!!
I made one about 10 years back. I used Poly for the final clear.
I wet sanded that bastard for ages! But when it was done......
I could drop a cloth on top of it....
and it slid off while laying flat.
Sounded and played perfect. Had a Gold Floyd on it and a Duncan Custom Custom.
I should of kept it!!!! :doh:
Sold it on Ebay for $1200.00 :D

this was way before the "Artist" series came out.

Thanks man!! Its nerve racking trying to do it without screwing it up, tomorrow or Thursday I'll do a few touch ups and then clear clear wet sand and buff it out, ya mailman its going to take a lot of sanding with 1000 and then 1500. I'm going with black hardware rather then crome and I've ordered a Warmoth neck, I'm excited about the whole thing because if it turns out nice I'll make a few others. I love working on guitars and I set up all my friends guitars so I figured I might as well try to build one myself (sort of build one).
 
How about an opinion. I dont think that gold hardware will look good with this yellow. What do you think? Black, gold, or crome?
 
Black or Gold....
I had Black originally....but the Gold looked so damn sweet when it was done........ :rock:

I would go all Black Hardware...
Might look cool with Yellow and Black zebra pick-ups too :thumbsup:

I never thought of that. UPS just dropped off the hardware I ordered and the black looks pretty good. I got black dots in the neck so it should come together looking good.
