Hey everyone, first post here. Recently acquired a 5150 III Stealth 50w. My first tube amp in 4 years after switching to modeling rigs. So far so good and can definitely see the hype. The amp was used in pristine condition but somebody did a re tube with Groove Tubes rated at 6 and honestly I'm not a big fan. I know tubes can be an endless rabbit-hole hole of discussion but I'm simply looking for suggestions as to best compliment the amp. Stylistically for metal. I don't hate the preamp tubes although something with less top end hiss would be appreciated as well. Thanks so much!
