EVH stealth. What cab you guys prefer?

I might unload my Splawn cab, have a guy who wants it for his Nitro. He has a mint Mesa 4x12 he said he would trade, don't know if it's standard or traditional? Seems like most on here prefer the traditional. I can't really tell them apart via photos?

He also has the Stealth with matching 4x12, and he told me to get the stealth cab.

Opinions? Clips? Thanks.

i have a oversize recto cab i use live and a evh cab. live i like the recto cab better cuts a little more. the evh cab doesn't sound as big. however i also use a two notes live with the brownyback cab and switch to the bagel cab with v 30's a lot. the stealth has a lot of low end and the mesa handles it really well imo

Some type of greenback cab seems to work best with EVH stuff. The VM cabs with the G12C GBs sounded better than the EVH cab IMO, but I had a 5153 50w....

The Stealth cab is identical to the non-Stealh cabs. I put two V30s in the bottom of mine. My 100S sounds amazing through it, as do my other heads.

I have used a Marshall 1960a, a peavey 6505 angled, and I also have the EVH cab. by far I prefer the EVH cab, but the 6505 cab didn't sound too bad with it. the 6505 cab had a nice dry punchy vht type nature to its sound characteristics, compared to the full in your face type of sound the evh cab had

My buddy is using Marshall mode 4 cabs. It sounds great.

I have an EVH 412 cab loaded with G12C speakers and a VHT FatBottom 412 loaded with p50e speakers. Of the two, for what I play, I much prefer the VHT cab. Tight as hell and never flubs out when pushed hard.

My favorite cab is my Splawn 4x12 Creamback 65 loaded .... My favorite gig cab is my Friedman 1x12 with a Creamback 65 it's a back saver!!

Mesa all day for me but I've been a big mesa guy for years. Never got anything else to please my ear. I'm probably not looking in the right places though haha

I run mine through a FL Uberkab with all V30s. Sounds huge, tight, and punchy. Kills with my Friedman can as well. Prob wouldn't use an OS with it though...
