IMO it's not a tribute. Everybody is entitled to their opinion but this is clickbait garbage. And very poor form imo, because of the timing.

I much prefer seeing everyone and their dog playing Eruption, Unchained, or Panama.

I didn't mind this guy's vid though. DLR era VH is still the jam. Van Hagar has some nice melodic rockers and some cool stuff, but I can't listen to Hagar for too long. As for the ego, well I'm sure Mozart and Beethoven could be pricks too. When you are a genius, ego and talent drive you. No shame in that. A lot of these guys can be dicks on a bad day..Nuno, YJM etc etc.. also the amount of people you have to meet and humour. Imagine having to be "on" all the time. No thanks.

Side note, who are all these rambling toms with youtube channels though? Do we all have the need to be heard? Does anyone care what we think? Social media is a fascinating thing.

Agreed! That's why I posted it. I dig that the guy is willing to state his opinions (like everyone here), but yeah... it's a little soon to be speaking his version of the truth. I like it, but I also have resevations in regards to the timing. Just remember... RT welcomes all opinions, not just those from EVH fanboy sycophants.
