EVH wolfgang pickups

Any of you guys putting EVH Wolfgang pickups into your guitars? (those that are not wolfgang guitars). I'm thinking of a set for my alder Strat. Any thoughts? how are they as replacement pups?

Tried them in my ET Custom guitar (Mahogany/Wenge Body with Wenge Neck and Ebony Fretboard).
Very dry and crunchy sounding.

Thanks, mate. I've watched this clip before but I didn't know that you have EVH pups in the ET. The tone is amazing, I love the clarity. so you're going to keep these pups in this guitar?
 
I put a set in my SG. I think they sound great but what do I know? The neck pick up sounds really good to the point that I will actually use it. Tons of sustain and clarity...

are you running it with your 5150 III rig? I use the neck pups all the time.

Yep. I have one in my ash franky replica as well and it sounds even better in that guitar. If your concerned you won't like them, try to find a used set. I was able to find a used set on ebay for $145.00...

I actually had them removed and ended up selling them off, but I regret it.
I've tried finding another pair for the right price, but can't (if our budget wasn't so damn tight these days I'd just buy a new set).
