Evidence Audio Siren II cables

Anyone try/use these? Just got one and switched out my Monster speaker cable. Man there is so much bass now. Borderline too much. Gonna have to radically change my settings. Also, what exactly happens after the break-in period. Will it get warmer? Brighter? Less bassy?

I have both the Siren I & II. I like the Siren I better, my engineer likes the II (go figure)....I suppose it depends on the application. The Siren II does have a bit more bass but both of them sound killer!!!

I use one. It replaced a George L's speaker cable, and I found it to be much bassier too, but that was down to the fact the George L's was pretty thin sounding actually. Once the Siren II came in, I compared the three speaker cables I own and found the George L's to be the worst - thin, bright, actually kinda "odd" sounding -, Planet Waves to be second "best" and the Siren to be the best. The Siren was just more balanced, clearer and "better" sounding.

But hey, last time I spoke about this on another forum I got shot down like crazy and told I was experiencing a huge placebo effect.

Ive used a Siren II for a while now. I wont claim to have noticed any huge difference over my old generic speaker cable, but then again I never directly compared them back to back or recorded any clips of the two. I will say though that its the most heavy fuckin duty cable ive ever seen, you could tow a truck with this thing.
