My amp is ready...I won't get to hear it until I get home from tour right before Thanksgiving. Gives me something to look forward to though, that's for sure!!

AWESOME !!! I just dislike the black knob placements (looks odd) but otherwise it seems to be a neat job. :rock:

if you don't mind me asking, what particular mod was that (I see that it says Hulk mod)? and how much did it cost for the modding and all those options? (PM me if you don't want to publicly say)

For the Hulk it is pretty much a total re-work of the amp and you will have to pm Mike because due ot the amount of labor the wait time will increase IF he is still offering that mod.

It is a beast.

The amp is a HULK mod which is similar to the what the Natas will be. Of course the Natas will have its own trannies and other bits that will make it different. :yes:

This amp is the only HULK in a Superlead chassis that Mike has ever done, which is very cool for me! :thumbsup:

The options that I got Mike to do for me were:

- 2 Footswitchable gains

- 2 Footswitchable Master Volumes

- Voicing switches (push/pull) on the gain controls add more gain in the upper mids

- Depth control knob; push/pull on the bass control for on and off

- Series/Parallel tube fx loop with send and return controls

- Footswitchable FX loop bypass

-Dual bias so two different power tubes can be used simultaneously. I am using 6550s and EL34s. :rock:

- External bias points and adjust controls


Mike is the best...one cool mofo for sure. He really cares about his clients and went the extra mile for me. He will have my business again at some point. :yes:
 
I agree with you bro about Mike Fortin, he's so down to earth and also
a guitar player that suffered massive GAS attacks :D So he really is familiar with
all the go arounds with different amps and builds which is HUGE for knowing what we're after.
Thats the cleanest looking mod I've evr seen.
We are so fortunate to have him around.
My problem is I can't decide what amp I want :doh:
A mod or any of the 3 works of art and sonic assault that he offers.
Congrats Killertone I bet you'll be dreamin' about that weapon of war! :rock:

Dude, as someone else said! wear the diaper when you play this thing! Holy Christ I nearly cried the first time I tried mine because of the loss of pressure in the room! it almost sucked all the oxygen out, but thankfully I have enough hot air to provide so we were fine!

Mike told me that he's done with the Hulk Mods. I suppose he's focusing on the Natas and doesn't want to make to many more amps sound like the one he's building.

I know he's still doing the Cali "I'm sticking to single channel Marshalls or Metro Kit amps."

Hope you don't mind me quoting you, Mike.

I hope that Marshall destroys, dude. Enjoy it.
