I own 3 and will never own a fossil vehicle again. An EV is simply better for everything that I do.

Any other EV drivers here?

I have EV Force 12's in one of my Twins. I like to drive them hard. Amazing vehicle for tone.

@Monkey Man I think this is in the wrong subsection.
Lol, I have EV 12Ls in my Mesa halfback cab, and also 3 EV cars. Never thought of that one.

I'll never own an EV, and my cars don't run "fossil", they run petrol. and it's not derived from dinosaurs. Years ago I worked for a leading utility company in which our EV-1 was a huge publicity endeavor. I'll keep it content "safe" here. All the brass was in on the ploy.

Today, they are expensive to insure because they are fire hazards in the hurricane states that may be swamped with seawater after a storm. Once those cells get exposed to seawater, it's only a matter of time before the batteries self-combust. Many houses have burnt-down as a result of this, and the insurance rates are now through the roof on EV's because of the elevated risk; and the battery fires are extremely difficult to put out and highly dangerous.

Yes, the instant torque acceleration is amazing.

Petrol, please.

I never said fossil fuels come from dinosaurs.

Fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas) originate from the remains of ancient organisms that lived millions of years ago. These organisms, including plants and marine life, were buried under layers of sediment and subjected to heat and pressure over vast geological timescales. This process transformed their remains into the carbon-rich deposits we now extract and use as fossil fuels.

I thought this was a thread about the awesomeness of ElectroVoice speakers. Disappointed.
