Eww, don't listen to your practice amp at ear level

I've had this Katana 50 for a couple years now and LOVE this hotrodded Marshall patch that I copied from a Studio Rats YouTube video, but it was always sitting on the floor. Now that I moved my rack in here awaiting my Helix and rackmount for my interface, I just set the amp up on top of the rack firing right at me and man it sounds TERRIBLE now lol

I guess I should go in the settings and tweak the eq to get it to sound better, or do something. This is a crime against ear drums. However, as a benefit, from running the Katana through my Monster Pro 3500 power conditioner, it has REALLY cut down on the buzzing when I don't have my hand on the bridge/strings/tuner. Now I have clean power and don't have to worry about the noise as much.

Maybe that is why shitty amps sound so bad at guitar center. Never thought about them being elevated

Oh god. I have one 2x12 on the floor and one 1x12 elevated. And I can only hear the 1x12 when I sit and play. So fucking annoying.
