[Beyond Black]

Alright the new Exhorder has been out for awhile, what do you think? Plenty of naysayers the last time this was discussed. IMO the new album absolutely kills, and should be on every “Album of the Year” list. It is the perfect continuation of where they left off on “The Law.” It grooves like hell and it’s heavy as fuck! Great tunes and the production is massive. A beast has awoken with this reunion and album.

I gotta give it some more spins...but I can definitely see where Pantera changed their sound to back in the day.

I loved it from the get go, but it did grow on me also! Dude, it’s a heavy hitter. Even though Vinnie and Kyle are the only original members, it’s 100% Exhorder. And SH is killing it on drums. He was a great choice. And did I mention the guitar tones?!!! FUHGETABOUTIT!!!

Just read that Vinnie left the band! Vinnie wrote the entire new album, so this’ll probably be short lived. Crying shame....

Touring will fuck up an already strained relationship quickly. And touring again 30 years after your prime can become a powder keg real quick. The adrenaline wears off after a couple of weeks and then it's just the same old slog through the mud.

And old dogs are set in their ways.

This new cd is a good one. Vinnie has some great rhythms throughout the whole album.

Yeah, Vin and Kyle supposedly have a history of butting heads. That’s a shame, man. Was loving this reunion and already anticipating their next release. Oh well, just grateful for this one, because it is a killer. I’m going to Psycho Las Vegas, so hopefully they’ll still be performing. If not, Mercyful Fate still will be!
