I see those guys on that Metal Show. Hammet is cool and very humble for being the epic rockstar he is. I am learning Sanitarium. Got the first lead bit down. The second lead with the sliding descending lick is perfection. Fits the song, just a bit of perfection. I don't get the Hammet bashing. The Judas Kiss is another great riffing song. They kinda let the song go on too long but that can be fixed live. Don't know if I will ever cover that live. Cyanide. Another one.

I don't think there's a homo in the bunch. Marilyn Manson is a bit odd, but he's married and has a very hot GF. I almost knocked him down in the hotel hallway when we were in Germany. The band was staying at the Meridian Hotel in Nurmberg where we stayed.

Marilyn Manson's a very cool dude. He knows how to play the freak show celebrity thing and hey, it's totally worked in his favour. But he's a smart cat - down to earth - intellectual - and surprisingly broad and informed in all matters of politics, society and culture.

Also has quite a sly sense of humor - not the typical "rockstar" style, just a funny cat hands down.

I met Zakk when he was playing one of his earlier roles as a southern hillbilly in the Pride and Glory days. He did an in store at the store I worked at and one of the guys knew him from the New Jersey scene and he kept saying, "why is he speaking with a southern accent?"
