I am still working on mixing levels but kind of like the clip itself. I am a huge Extreme fan and this is one of my favorite songs. I was going for a different tone from the Mark IV. I actually used Rhythm 2 and a Maxon OD-9 for a clean boost. I tried adjusting the bass and drum levels and got a little bit better results (I don't have time to really dive into EQing individual drum tracks yet).

What do you think? I am trying to record more diverse Mark IV clips (even though I like making metal ones too).

KICKIN ASS as allways

never knew extreme rocked like that, pretty cool tune.

how you digging the Mark IV after having it awhile? i've been thinking about trading my CL for one or building a Metro, but then i got messing with the red channel today and was liking quite a bit.

I honestly would not have guessed that was a boogie, so good work??

Maybe do When I'm President next?

Good job on getting the Nuno vibe/sound on the tune. Nuno rules even if he snubbed Danyeo

Excellent!

Nuno is one of my fave players, great job

L'il Jack Horny next please..........

:D

I liked the playing, but I wasn't into the guitar tone all that much. I can't put my finger on it, but I think maybe it's just a tad too squishy for my tastes.

Sorry it took so long to respond.

I love the amp. It is super versatile and i swear I can get anything I want to play stylistically out of it. I loved the VHT too.

I liked the tone on your Timmons clip better.

I was going for completely different tones. On a day to day basis I like my tone better in the Timmons clip as well but this was fun too.

I'm a Nuno fan but I have heard he is kind of a jerk to his fans.

I liked both clips !!!!

nice posts showing the versatility of the amp

as much as I have been gassing for a Recto-verb combo .... the Mark IV is always on my mind to a certain degree

excuse me if I don't remember the setup on the Timmons thread but .. is this a head ???... if so what cab and speaker combo are you using ???
