Fair price for VHT D60 these days?

The last one I sold was mint and I got 1800 for it

I love that tight sound, controlled thunder lol, HMJ had the pitbulls and I remember thinking..that sounds so tight.

I am looking for a d60 now. Jim's pitbulls, I remember he had with the p50 speakers..sounded like a badass symphony. But the D60 is where I need to be

Sold my last D60 for around $800. Now as bad as I want another, I can’t get myself to pay the $1500+ they go for.

Think I sold mine for around $1375 all in to the buyer here a few months ago.

I fortunately snagged a perfect condition 05 D60 a few years back for $1100. It is one of the first dozen units so of course it has the stock choke.
With everything having gone up so much I could see paying $1500. I'm not much on buying used if the price gets over approx. 65% of the actual cash price brand new.

Fryette’s/VHT’s aren’t my favorites (other than a 2150), but even at current prices they’re still imo a lotta amp for the money and hard to find much else in that price range to rival them for a good high gain amp
