signal flow is:
Polytune -> interface -> buffer -> bb -> mxr/cae wah -> amp -> mxr flanger -> diamond tremolo -> diamond mljr delay

the first instance houses a send / return loop pre-buffer, my STEVIA buffer (18V), and a post buffer send / return loop.

the second interface houses the Amp send, and post gain amp fx send / return. this interface is setup in a way that he can run the entire board into a clean amp, or use it with an amp thats got an effects loop by simply patching the fx return into the amp input.

the memory lane jr was the standout pedal on this board, hands down. some great mod delay tones in it!

Nice thread! ;)

Yes, I drove 400 kms the day of a gig to pick this up from Casey and used it the same night. Flawless.

I'll post up a more in-depth review in about a week, after I have another gig under my belt with it.

I really can't say enough good things about Casey and his work. The quality of his end product is second to no one, including the "big boys" in L.A. and NYC. His customer service is unreal, and his pricing can't be beat. Turnaround time is better than anybody in the business as well. If you're thinking of having any custom interface or pedalboard work done, you owe it to yourself to reach out to Casey and see what he can do for you. I absolutely guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Thanks again, Casey. You did a kick ass job on a killer little board!

P.S. No 'Nickleback' on this board EVER. Sorry, Bob.

Hater.

But seriously, I don't like them that much either but was curious nonetheless.

Awesome work Casey! I'll second the comments about the quality of the work and especially the customer service. Casey did a small interface for me and he was a stellar guy to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to utilize his service and products again.

Casey does have quick turn around time and puts out a nice product. I got some cables made by him and a loop box and I play with that buffer on at all times. In fact, I would say that if i had to choose between shit cables and a good buffer, I'd go buffer all day long. No more losing highs.

If I ever finalize my board I am going to get him to do me up a board. Love the stacking in this one. Genius.

On a side note, how do you find those polytune pedals? I am in the market for a tuner as well. What is your effects rack?

....and I see you've put the Axess controller to good use already.

Of course!

I love these things. I also have one on the larger pedalboard Casey made for me last year, which included two custom interface boxes. The interface box on the far right side of the second row of the board includes the main guitar patch into the board, a great buffer, a footswitchable tuner out and two footswitchable true bypass pre-buffer FX loops (one for each of the EH POG2 and Earthquaker Devices Hoof Fuzz that are in the back row of the board):

The Axess MFC5 interacts perfectly with the RJM Mini Amp Gizmo on the interface board behind my amp - including receiving phantom power- while also having a very small footprint. The interface board also includes another custom interface box for patching with the snake Casey built, as well as an Egnater Loop Level Matcher (a.k.a. the "Loop Gadget"). The Loop Gadget interfaces with the 'FX Send' and 'FX Return' jacks on any amp. It then has clear and transparent buffers on both the 'FX Send' and 'FX Return' legs to my pedalboard, as well as separate 'Send' and 'Return' volume controls. These are great little units. I'm surprised Bruce Egnater hasn't pushed this product harder. It makes using virtually any amp's FX loop easy, and can even turn an otherwise crummy loop into a great loop. The Voodoo Lab ISO-5 powers everything on the board:

The snake includes 3 legs of Evidence Audio Reveal: one for 'Pedalboard to Amp Input' as well as one for each of the 'FX Send' and 'FX Return' legs. 7-pin midi is also included.

The RJM Mini Amp Gizmo allows me to control the switching on every amp I currently have, as well as any amp head or midi-controlled rack effects system I might get in the future. At most, a custom cable might be required. That's an easy trade-off, given that I can use either of the two pedalboards that Casey has built for me to control any rig, and never have to worry about re-configuing my board to accommodate all of the various footswitches that come with my amps.

Sorry to bore you with the rig rundown....

Left footed? :scared:

Maybe? I don't know. I have always used my left foot for my wah. I find it to be much more comfortable.

The Polytune is decent. I have a Korg Pitchblack on my other board, and I like it's large display much better than the Polytune's. But the Polytune lets you check in about 2 seconds whether or not any strings need to be tuned - making it a great tuner for live use. TC is selling a Polytune Mini Noir right now, which is a cool little pedal:

Unlike the full-size Polytune, the Mini versions do not include the ability to daisy chain power to other pedals on your board. If this is a requirement, look at the full-size version.

No effects rack. All of my effects are on the floor, some running before the amp, some running through the amp's FX loop.

I live in NYC Rob and I dont know of any Big Boy rig builders here ( or regular rig builders for that matter) There is one guy that I found and spoke to but he was a worthless dick ( and Canadian I might add, not that theres anything wrong with that, just a coinky dink)

The board looks great and Yeah, Casey is the goods. I think that he would have alot more work on his bench if more people knew of him but I also think that theres alot of people out there looking for internet cred by going to the "Big Boys" and paying alot more for the same kind and quality of work but thats just my .02..

Nice looking work and a very cool board...congrats to the owner and the builder both

That's kilometers, David. It equates to about 250 miles. So, it's about 4 hours of driving at 65 miles per hour (you Yanks and your antiquated Imperial measurement system..... ;)  )

In the interests of keeping the thread on topic and about Casey's work, PM'd!
