I was cleaning my office/ music room/ man cave, and thought I'd snap a pic of the latest incarnation of the rig...

I'm really enjoying the new Ibanez. It fills the gap that I had in my tonal arsenal quite nicely.

I have 6L6s in mine. I did the conversion to run EL34s, and went right back to the 6L6s. It just sounds better to me with the 6L6s. Fatter, with a rounder top end. Much better cleans.

What happened to the strat?

I got over my Andy Timmons phase...lol! While it was a great guitar, I kept wanting to take a sander to the back of the neck- to get rid of the thick finish. I decided rather than do that, I'd let it go to some one who didn't mind the neck finish. As far as Fenders go, I'm more of a tele guy anyway.

I hear ya...a few weeks after you picked up that strat I picked up an Anderson Hollow Classic with HSS set up. Been gassing for a "fat strat" type of guitar for a while and got it at a great price. I'm at work in ND right now so no pics but I'll send ya one in two weeks when I get home.

nice, i have a triamp mk I too and it kicks major ass! el34 version though
