I brought home a Far East Electric Brown Gibeon pedal from the NY Amp Show a couple of months ago. It was a definite I HAVE TO HAVE THIS moment. There are tons of TS9/Tubescreamer type pedals out there but, not so many "hairy" distortion pedals that turn a clean tube amp into a mean dirty and tube amp like this pedal does. http://www.hondatonequalityinstitute.jp is the website for Far East Electric. Hiroyuki Honda is the man who hand builds these pedals and other tone shaping gear. I HIGHLY recommend that you seek some of his current designs (and previous pedal designs as well)! The Brown Gibeon model pedal is called the Real Amp Drive by the way. Here's a vid of it:
