Yo! My buddy's Engl Fireball 100 has died. First it was fluctuating in volume. Not all of the time, but occasionally. He took all the tubes out to check for resididue on the pins/sockets, put them back in, fired it up, and nada, radio silence. With the volume on 10 you can hear the slightest humming through the speakers, but that's it. What say you?

Try swapping preamp tubes, check to see they are all lighting up. I've had the same scenario and turned out to be a pre.

My ENGL Blackmore did the same thing when I had a preamp tube go bad. They hadn't been replaced in many years, so I ordered a fresh set of preamp tubes and I was back in business. If you have some known good ones, try those out in the amp and that should give you an answer

Thanks guys, we'll check the preamp tubes out. Appreciate the tip.
