OK guys, just finished my demo of the Phantom's new V-Speaker circuit, it sounds really great and is a killer addition to what was already a killer product. Here ya go:

Jeez....they already have a 6 month waiting list to get one! Should be like a 2 year wait list once this gets out.

Good stuff Pete.

Sounds great and cool song.

Other than using it for bedroom level stuff, do you use it with your marsha? I feel like my marsha has an excellent master volume but have always wondered if a good attenuator would sound better. I feel like 3-4 on the master is the sweet spot for my marsha...not ridiculously loud but it's not quiet either.

I have a Marsha and Phantom, and I prefer the Marsha's MV by itself at any level.

Thanks for the info.
So you're saying I should be happy with what I have and not waste more money. That's just crazy talk! :D

The Marsha does have a nice master, and it's the type of amp that develops most of it's tone in the preamp IMHO. I still like to use the Faustine with it, because it settles in real nice around 2-3 on the master, and that's pretty rippin loud by that point. Also this vid is obviously geared towards demoing the speaker sim/loading the amp for silent use- more than the attenuator aspect.

Much preferred the tone of the scumback. Much better treble detail. But like PT said, at 4am it's a great option. I still would rather try and find a decent iso box or use my powerbrake on it's lowest setting.

Thats probably the best Analog sim I have heard. Very nice and sounds actually usable!

This is an awesome product. That V speaker is impressive, especially compared to some impulses I've heard, as well as some standalone speaker simulators.

It's true! It's awesome. I tell ya, the Faustine is the one to get, I've owned 3 others and it's in another league! What I say in the vid is true- I basically don't play without it now.

Pete, are you sure the mic didn't move when you got to the overdriven clips ? Where the clean speaker and sim were virtually identical, all of a sudden the overdriven speakerclips were much more scooped sounding ? Or is that the character of the speaker ? (I have no experience with scumbacks)

I actually prefer the tone you are getting with the Faustine over the Scum spker. I haven't been happy with an attenuator with my Bogner 20th XTC or Cam Mod'd Uber but this might be what I need.

Thanks for the Gas attack as usual and sounds great.
